Reflection
1.The purpose of this piece is to inform people on how technology is impacting the earth as well as people, animals, and the environment. I wanted to tell people that we can stop damaging earth and we can be the generation that stops this because I have faith we are strong and smart enough to think of ways to make the world better.I even talk about possible options we can choose such as recycling and thinking as well as sharing ways were waste that comes from technology can be disposed of properly and safely. 2.I learned a lot of things both about me as a writer and writing.I learned that you don't have to follow the 3 reasons and 5 paragraph essay format.I learned that you can use "I" in a informational essay.I learned that I can write like myself and I can be creative when writing a piece. When I wrote this essay I learned that I am way more creative than I think I am and that I am capable of using a variety of evidence when try to prove something I said.Whether I use my experience or something from a article to a website. 3.If I had the chance to do this piece all over again something I would definitely change is the length and the vocabulary. When reading my essay you notice I use high level words and I think this doesn't allow everyone to understand why I care about the topic and why im writing the article.Instead its difficult and boring so I feel that if I added more easier words I would be able to get my message across easier and quicker. Also, talking about quicker the length of my essay doesn't allow me to do this because its really long.I remember Edwin told me to shorten the article because there was too much going on and it was too long so it was boring for him and he didn't want to read it. |
